The Playwrights Think Tank brings together talented writers with unique perspectives to share skills & ideas, focusing on whatever the members are grappling with in their work right now. In a supportive atmosphere, we talk honestly & vulnerably about our writing, our process, the inner workings of various theatres & play development programs, and the business of playwriting.
Our bi-weekly meetings also devote time to critiquing each other’s work whenever that’s needed. We read each other’s scripts in advance or attend readings with actors so our sessions can devote more time to discussing our plays in depth. In addition, we host guest speakers on topics of interest and hold workshops to further deepen our skills.
